Miller Ranch - Edwards, CO
Miller Ranch was originally a working ranch that was partitioned over time, with Eagle County eventually controlling the 120 acres. Eagle County partnered with Ross Graves to construct the site that is now home to a campus for Colorado Mountain College, a Battle Mountain High School, and a 30 acre residential development comprised of 282 homes.
Marcin Engineering became involved in the project during Phase I when the development team was faltering with a lack of leadership in infrastructure and residential site work. Marcin provided intensive infrastructure project management, and produced construction documents for Phase II and Phase III of the three phase project. These documents included: site/grading plans, sanitary and storm sewer plans, water system plans, shallow utility plans, roadway plans, construction details, and a drainage report. The water system included over 4500 lineal feet of 8” DIP water main and over 200 service laterals. Marcin Engineering provided bidding, construction management, and construction observation services for all three phases of the project, to ensure a successful completion of the project within plans and specifications.
